Stayed here June 2006; 4th visit to Egypt so I am coping with the hassle! On arrival hear complaints about the way things are here but just think would you work for their wages. Do the hotel staff ever sleep? Everything is done for you and clean and comfortable rooms towels laid out on the sunbed they are there for you 24/7 makes for a relaxing holiday and the weather, yes temperature in the 40's! With my 21 year old daughter we stayed B&B and paid £3 for three course lunch or evening meal & can sit by a pool overlooking the Sinai desert ? Drinks (pub next to Rosetta) about the same as UK & imported icecreams and snacks. You should take a travel kettle with you for a decent English cuppa! Take precautions from home in case of 'Egyptian Tummy' too! Taxis outside the hotel charged 25 egyptian pounds just to Naama Bay and asked for double when we got there (they will try it over & over)settling for 20 but basically its not much compared to taxi fares in UK! (Wondered if they did hassle us more two women without a man?) You can cross the road and walk, take a bottle of water everywhere! Shops and beach only a few minutes from Tropicana Rosetta hotel. Once you glimpse the Red Sea & Coral all the hassle is forgotten? I will be going again! Tour Operator: First Choice
