We stayed at Santa Fe recently Oct 08- with Thompson-travel by Leger coach. Had read a lot of reviews prior to going but kept an open mind. I found the rooms clean-maid visit every day with fresh towels-plenty of hot water- double beds. TV - 2 kids channels in English. Breakfast I was dreading as I had heard lots of neg comments but me and the children 16-13-8 were happy - I suggest you get organised though, after queing find a seat and table first - sit younger ones down whilst others get the breaky!! Don't be afraid to load up your tray to avoid keep getting up!! Croisannts plain and chocolate all fresh and tasty-rolls-bread-toast-jass-cereals-2 cheeses-3-4 different cold meats-the drinks machines inc milk for cereal are in the table area, we also made up ham rolls to take with us at the park,a lot of people did this,
Disney characters in the hotel foyer at different times, good opportunity to get pictures. The shuttle bus takes you to the park in about 3-5 mins and we never had to wait for more than 2 mins for this, although it was very very busy, hold tight to little ones hands and it does sometimes pay to leave your manners at home!
It's not the most attractive looking hotel in the world, but it suited our needs perfectly and I wouldn't hesitate to use Santa Fe again. The not so good: - No hair dryer-No kettle-in room( took our own). Arrived very late by coach, coach op booked us in, and we were briefly pointed in the direction of our room and given a map, after a long journey and all feeling very tired a trek in the dark with little idea of where we are going lugging cases was not fun! And then arriving at our block there are no lifts, although not too long flight of steps- still adds to the stress, it would be helpful to have a member of staff perhaps offer some assistance? Our coach was picking us up at 7-20am, with breakfast not starting till 7am and the luggage area not opening till 7am we were at a loss at what to do, so we followed suit with others, leaving our cases in the hotel foyer whilst rushing breakfast, the cases were all there when we got back, your other choice would have to be taking them in the dining room which was doable but would have got in the way a lot!
After saying all that, I would recommend Santa Fe, its a good base if you don't intend to spend a lot of time in your hotel.

Don't be put of by the way the hotel looks on the outside. The rooms are basic but nice and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast can be very busy and chaotic and upon arrival you are given a time and you have to go then otherwise you miss out. We found this hotel perfectly adequate as we were not there much.
