My girlfriend and I really enjoyed staying at Protea President Hotel! The restaurant makes some really nice food but the music can be a bit much. We're not really elevator music type people. The concierge at the hotel told us that they had just redone the hotel so it was nice to know that we would be getting a nice fresh room. The room was great - although we tried to get a sea facing one, we coudn't, they were just too full. However looking at a mountain isn't bad either. The rooms were clean and had their own microwaves and fridges. The kitchen is kinda like a small bar counter, very cool! It's situated at the end of Sea Point which is great - you're like 5 minutes away from the beaches and 5 minutes away from the centre of the city! Perfect!
