I didn't actually stay here, I stayed at the hotel next door, but we visited the fantastic Baiyoke Sky Hotel that soars into Bangkok's skyline. At 84 storeys tall, the Baiyoke Sky offers observation decks with binoculars and a revolving open-air 84th floor that allows you to look over the whole of Bangkok city, including the Grand Palace and many other wats (temples) jutting out into the skyline. It really is quite breathtaking. The restaurant is also exquisite and is located quite high up so that diners can enjoy magnificent views of the city while enjoying their meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even though we were only visitors to the hotel interested in exploring the sights and merely using the 84th floor as a sightseeing tool! If you only pop in for a visit like we did, it really is worth it! I recommend you check it out, or even better, stay here!
