OMAR KHAYAM CLUB HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Omar Khayam Club, The East Coast
This accommodation was horrific! - Sheila Anne Cowen. Date of travel: Mar 2008
The building and its surrounding areas are very clean and tidy, but sadly the staff do not project the image of this hotel. I was treated like a complete imbecile and after 4 days moved out to get away from the couldn't care less attitude and rudeness! When I arrived someone behind the reception counter was trying to clip a plastic bracelet onto my wrist, this was for All inclusive and I was half board. I told him no, but if he insisted I would put it into my purse for easy access. He was insisting I put this on, and after me saying no again, he accused me of not having respect for his country. This was exceptionally annoying. The porter they produced to take my case was the "animation" for the evening so I had to wait until he had done his stuff! The rooms are separate to the main building and views are blocked by trees. I did change hotels and the new hotel sent a car for me the following morning. When my driver asked at the gatehouse for me, they claimed they had no-one at the hotel with that name, so I had to walk with luggage along the drive to my taxi. A very bad experience. Thank goodness I found somewhere.
