Just spent 14 days at Club Cettia Apartments. The rooms were spotless lots of room. The only downside was poor air conditioning. Rooms can get very hot. The apartments are about 10 min walk from beach. Kids entertainment at the apartments was poor. The bar staff were good fun. There is a mini market over the street, the owner of shop is all smiles. He's not to be trusted - passes off real cigarettes but they're fake. But in the end of the 14 days it was a good holiday. I would go back. PS. Rose loves herself too much and should do her job with the kids, not spend all day by pool looking at the boys.

Club Cettia Apartments is ideal for families with children. Conveniently situated with easy access to town centre and beach by local buses; which stop right outside the Club Cettia Apartments. The apartments are very clean and the bed linen is changed daily.

As we arrived at Club Settia we thought it looked really nice from the outside, and was very pleased as the ones we drove past on the way looked horrible. The staff were very friendly and it was exactly what I expected it to look like from the brochures. There was plenty of space, very clean and the cleaning staff were brilliant, they changed our sheets nearly everyday and done the washing up sometimes as well. I would definitely recommend to families, as there is a kids club there which I would def recommend. It's for 3-12 yrs and they were so good with the kids - my boy is 4 and he wanted to go there all the time, I wouldn't normally put my child in something like that but I knew I could trust them there. The entertainment round the pool at night was good as well, always something going on, like fire shows, break dancers, human slinky show, happy hour on local drinks and lots more I could be here all day. We loved all the staff at Settia Apartments especially Tom, he was really good at getting us all up around the pool and doing the dances, I just hope they are all there again next year, see you all soon. xxx

Don't eat food from here as not very good, pool great, people great, if you want a good meal go over road to Star Bux. Great food, great to talk to, very cheap had a lot of good nights there, Adam and Diane great people would go back there. Breakfasts are like home, it is good for buying all your goodies. 4 for £10.00 so take £10.00 note they love them markets.

I've just returned from a 10 day holiday with my daughter. We stayed in the Cettia Apartments and couldn't find fault with anything. Apartments cleaned and fresh towels, loo rolls, etc were provided daily. Staff very friendly from the receptionists to 'toy boy' Benjy in his little shop and of course the bar staff, eternally flirty but in the nicest possible way! Ash, Andy, Tommy, Mark, and all the others go out of their way to make sure you have a good holiday. If staying in apartments take time to use the hotels facilities, they're great. Take a cardi for night times as it can be chilly & the bars are outdoors as are many bars in the area. Starbux across the road is definitely worth a visit, as well as Sandra's chippy down the road and Sarah's, which we didn't discover till our last nights and wished we had earlier. A fair distance from the main attractions but the Dolmus is about every 10 minutes and only costs a Lire anywhere - definitely worth using. Not to be missed are the Jeep Safari and lazy day boat trip (shop around as prices vary loads). All in all a great holiday, 10/10!

I booked a holiday for two weeks in Marmaris, two aldults and two children. We all loved Marmaris but were not very happy with our apartment. Although it was lovely and clean inside, the facilities were a joke: a frying pan without a spatula seemed to do the trick. The food at the hotel was horrible, in fact it was sundays roast potato reheated on monday and given to us instead of a jacket potato. Not to worry, the cafe facing Cettia Apartments kept us alive with great food and a very warm welcome - Starbux No 1 cafe in Marmaris. Benji who runs the souvenir shop is friendly, funny and gorgeous and you should not go home without buying something from him. Also at the bottom of the street you will find Leons, lovely friendly staff with good food. I recommend onion steak and steak pie - all cheap as chips! Looking forward to going back, but will not be staying at Cettia Apartments. Be careful when booking days out as you will be disappointed when they cancel at the last minute as that is what they did with me.

I have just come back from Turkey. It was my 1st time there (to Marmaris) and I really enjoyed it - the clubs at night were great, my best pub was called Jacaranda, there was entertainment on every night there were breakdancers, the bar men always danced with sparklers and things in their hands- it woz brill. Also at night we either went down Bar street which looked a bit rough because it was in a sort of allyway but the clubs were good until you got to the beach front where the Beach club which was brill it was my best nite club there the music was what i love i would go back there 2mora it was my best holiday ever!!

We had a fantastic time in Turkey and will definitely be returning again, despite the unfortunate bombs that went off on our last night!!! We booked after reading all the reviews and after being there found most of them to be very accurate. We promised to make a special mention to the staff we had great service from the Castle Bar, which is next to the Club Cettia apartments. It was great to go and get a great meal and friendly service, which our two girls, (renamed Kezban and Ella Bella) always wanted to go to. In particlar Mustafa (Moustouche) as he wasn't mentioned in any other of the reviews. They were all great, thanks Alex, Jimmy,Tommy, Ismail and the other bar staff. Turkey is very friendly and like many holiday destinations are asked to come and see there menus and great offers at each one you pass. There is a "No hassle" policy throughout the whole resort with big posters publishing it, however and we were never unduly bothered throughout our stay. The Hotel was adjacent and directly above the apartments as the whole site was built on a faily steep hill. The Hotel is definitely more towards 4 star and the apartments only 2 or 3 in our opinion, having said that I would definitely choose the Club Cettia apartments again as they were kept very clean by the very friendly maid and the whole atmosphere was better than that at the hotel. The pool was great for the kids but there wasn't a shallow end, 6 ft throughout which was great for our girls but not quite as good for those just learning to swim. There was a small circular kids pool next to it however. The staffs were friendly but were under strict instructions from the management that food and drink should not be brought down to the poolside and that it would be taken away by them if you did. Money exchange was easy at any of the Restaurant bars (Castles, Elvis etc), and was at a better rate than the hotel. £ sterling was very welcome by everyone and many shops would advertise in £'s i.e. 3 towels £10, 4 t-shirts £10 etc. Getting into Maramaris centre was easy on the Dolmus, only 1 lira each wherever you need to go and can flag one down to stop for you and drop you off wherever you want on route. You need the blue number 3 for travel to and from the Club Cettia apartments. Managed to get a great deal on the brilliant Aqua Dream park, 60 Liras for two adults and two children including pick up and delivery from apartments. This was from one of the may travel "stand" operators on the street (Timo Tours is about quarter of a mile down the road to the right of the apartments) and has a pleasant English-speaking sales person), just down the road from the appartments. All other excursions could also be bought and whilst not wishing to do the JMC reps out of there monies,(Kerry was great by the way) trips worked out far cheaper by booking it off-site. Having said that the Jolly Roger Cruise we booked via JMC was great and had the added value of having the Kids Club reps on board to keep the children amused. Our girls 7 and nearly nine enjoyed the kids club which was based in an air-conditioned room in the hotel but they are now getting to the stage of being bored in them and preferred to stay with us and keep themselves amused with the other friendly children. Kezia and Ella say hello to Amy, Daniel and Sam by the way. The apartments have a good Ege bar and free use of Pool table and table football for the children. Hair braiding is very popular and the hotel has a beauty/spa and hairdressers but is much more expensive than the barbers just down the road (right out of the apartments). We paid 70 lire £about £32) for 2 girls whole heads braided. The hotel charges 120 l for one! The weather was great - in the 40s - and we liked the fact it was really hot, apparently reported up to 53 degrees one day, but as it was fairly dry heat the kids never complained once. 40 degrees sounds unbearable but it is quite manageable if you're near a pool or shade. All in all a great, relaxing two weeks away. Tour Operator: JMC
