Grand Cettia great place to stay especially with Children - Ellen Geary & Alan Shorey. Date of travel: Sep 2007
Having just got back from staying at the Grand Cettia and having been to Turkey several times will say this is the best one so far. Hotel was spotless. Food was good. Staff really nice. Well kept and run hotel. Downfall: we like walking and it's a bit far out of Marmaris but bus ride away did not stop us. Lovely waiters worked really hard except one who constantly walked around all day pestering young single girls.
This hotel is trying very hard to keep us Brits happy.

Not impressive - Susan Davey. Date of travel: Jun 2007
The Grand Cettia hotel itself was not very impressive. Supposed to be 4 star, it was more like 2 star. The staff are very friendly. Location for this hotel is not too good, too far from the centre, although there is a Dolmus which will take you straight there. Entertainment is ok, but better at Sarahs bar which is just 2 minutes from the Grand Cettia hotel. The food is very bland and chips go too fast. Hairdressers is far too expensive. The guy who works there Murat Zavalsiz will convince you Pasha jewellers on the complex is owned by his brother which is not true at all and will take you there to get his commission. Be wary.
