The Mascot restaurant - Jane and David. Date of travel: Aug 2007
At first I found the Mascot Hotel and its staff very warm and welcoming but after travelling there several times I found that the staff and the owner, Umit, only seemed interested in our money. He conned us into several "investment" schemes but when we tried to pursue these things we did not get much of an answer and began to made to feel unwelcome at the restaurant. I would strongly reccommend Marmaris to travellers but would advise against the Mascot.

We went on holiday in June, Aug and October 2006. We think Marmaris is great, especially the Mascot/My Way hotel (beside the Caria hospital). We have stayed there the 3 times this year and all the staff are like family.
