The Ladik Park Hotel wasn't very good. It was very basic for a 3 star. Our rooms were small, dirty and the bathroom was filthy. The shower tray flooded and we didn't have any hot water for 2 nights all the other nights we got luke warm. The linen/towels were only changed once in the week we were there and the cleaners were nice and polite but didn't seem to clean the rooms thoroughly. The waiters and staff were sly, unhelpful, pervy and not very professional. They didn't like it if you went out of the hotel and wanted you to stay there to eat, drink and watch their entertainment. If you didn't stay they made you feel unwelcome. You're not allowed any of your own food/drink in the rooms which is a pain as their prices are a bit high. A number of the waiters were sleazy and we seen two of them dealing drugs and offering people who were staying here drugs to buy. The place is a shambles. I wouldn't go back here it's not very well run, and it's miles out of the centre of Marmaris.

Absolutely loved the Ladik Park Hotel, came back from there last week and I am missing it loads already. All the staff are really nice and very friendly. Always entertaining you and attending to your needs. Would def recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to go. Miss the place already and miss Mehmet dancing on the bar, he got you in the party mood. Hope to get back there next year.

Turkish waiters think they can play pool (Vince you''re rubbish mate) haha. Nice bloke though really goes out of his way for you. Oh yeah bleedin cocadoodle do, shoot them chickens. Overall though enjoyed our stay at the Ladik Park.

We have only been back from the Ladik Park for 2 days and would love to go back already. The staff are really friendly and will do anything for you. Ali and Vince are the best, we miss you guys already.
Our room was on the top floor and was clean and spacious. We had a balcony which you could look out towards the mountains at the back of the hotel. There is nothing bad I can say about the hotel except that they need to get some new music to play around the pool during the day as by the end of the week we were bored of listening to the same 2 CD's!
Our holiday was excellent value for money and at the end of the day you get what you pay for. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday and would love to go back to the Ladik Park.

I would recommend Ladik Park Hotel for a holiday, it is very clean, all staff are friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment was on most nights and very good, staff danced on the bar and kept you entertained. Regular bus service just outside hotel takes you into Marmaris for only 1 lira. It is only 2 mins walk to other bars and shops. Thanks to all the staff who helped us to have a great time. See you all next year....

Just got back from a week at Ladik Park Hotel Marmaris. The hotel is cheap, basic hotel, looking tired after a long season but kept clean. But ok to get your head down when you get back at night. The breakfast was disappointing as I was looking forward to the traditional Turkish breakfast but all you get is something on toast (cheese, egg, beans and chips?) The pool is adequate but at no time did I see anyone clean or test the water or treat it. The staff are great and will do anything they can to help. hey go to great pains to make certain that holidaying parties of females are well taken care of.

We are just back from Ladik Park, and guess what? We were the next victim to getttin our safe broken into £300 was taken, when we called for help Louise Keskin, our rep, sent us a letter telling us to shut our mouths on the subject, or we will have to leave the hotel. They made our stay there so bad we moved off our own backs, we stayed in the Golden Orange they were lovely, please don't go to Ladik Park as I would not want anyone to go trough what we did, Goldtrail just dont care about you, we are now seeking legal advice to stop this happening again and again, but on the good side Marmaris is lovely with some lovely hotels, just not Ladik...

The Ladik Park Hotel is boring don't go. Its staff are not friendly and the rooms are ok. The cleaners are very disrespectful, it's too far from town and you are not allowed visitors at any time. No food or drink. Have to eat there. It's more like prison, don't go. But the rest of Marmaris is good. My friend stayed in Club Anastasia. It's class. You are allowed in and it's in the town.

Ladik Park Hotel was wicked, the staff are brill and very entertaining!! They will do anything for you!! The pool was very nice and the room was ok but very basic!! But you get what you pay for!! The only bad point about this place is that you cant take anything in from out side (like food or drink). The Turkish night was a brill night and would recommend it. Would defo stay here again and will be returning!!

PJust back from a week at the Ladik Park - wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks. It was a very late booking and came to £210 each for the week and was well worth it.
Very friendly hotel - staff all extremely eager to please - and it has many restaurants and bars within 200 yards. It's also very close to 2 of the major bus routes into town, which it needs to be, being 2 miles from the main Bazaar, Bar street, etc. Mind you the buses are very frequent and only 40p for as far as you want to go.
Regarding other peoples gripes:
The food is great - and it's available 24hours. You'd normally go to a 5 star to get that. Mind you if you like a big breakfast you'll have to pay for it. That included with B&B is barely enough.
Security - there are multiple webcams covering the deposit boxes with constant recording and there were no thefts while we were there.
Noise - the bar has loud tunes but all the doors are closed at 11pm meaning you can drink in the restaurant or round the pool if the music isn't your taste. Also the sounds won't keep you awake in your room if you're in bed early.
Cocka-doodle-do - I never heard it, some others did. Why not pay for aircon (£25 per week) and you won't need to leave your balcony door open. This charging extra for aircon is standard everywhere I've stayed in Marmaris.
Pool - There is a little paddling pool for small children who can't manage the 1m70 pool.

I booked to go to the Ladik Park Hotel on a late deal a little under a week before travel. I returned home to review the hotel on the internet. After reading the reviews I was extremely worried. "What type of hotel have I booked?" I thought.
Well I would like to put the record straight for anyone thinking of going to this hotel. My husband and I have been all over the world, staying in 4 & 5* hotels, this was our first time to Turkey, and this hotel, but we would certainly return. The hotel was very basic, but lovely and clean, the staff were excellent. Veysi one of the waiters was briliant. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Granted, you were not allowed to bring food or drink back into the hotel, but with very good reason, people do not realise that they are only paid a small amount from the travel agencies for each person staying so have to make thier money from somewhere. No thefts reported during our stay, and numerous other guests we spoke to said the same thing, very baisc but would return. This hotel certainly does not warrant the bad reports. Yes there were cockerels, yes there was no food or drink allowed from outside, but a lot of top hotels have the same policies.
Both myself and my husband would most definitely return to this hotel again.
Heres to Alex the manager and all his hard working staff. "Thank You for a Great Holiday. Keep up the Good work" we will see you again.

The Ladik Park is a brilliant hotel. The staff are so friendly and would do anything for you. It is not in the centre of Mamaris but when you walk out the hotel 2 mins away, if that, there is a busy stop and the number 3 bus takes you right into Mamaris and only costs 1 lira per peson. The hotel is basic but very clean and has entertainment on most nights. There is music played at the pool side. The waiters are always smiling and dancing to keep you entertained and especially Memet and Umut are brilliant dancers you could watch them all night. The pool is big compared to the other hotels we dropped people off at. As soon as the bus stops to let you off some of the waiters are already waiting outside to take your case for you and take it to you room. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was amazing and I'm hoping to be going back ASAP. I miss all the waiters so much they were so lovely. Me and my daughter can't wait to come back! Hopefully see you guys soon!!!

We are just back from Ladik Park Hotel, yet another theft while we were there, £400 went missing from the safety deposit boxes behind reception, so I advise not to get one (keep everything locked in your suitcase)!! This however didn't bother me as I was aware of things going missing before I left. I also think the no food or drink from outside is outrageous, especially since the hotels choice of food is very poor, M&Ms or crisps are all the snacks available. The prices in the hotel are extortionate as well up to 6 times what you'd pay at the supermarket. However the staff are exceptionally friendly (Mehmet- the barber), sometimes over friendly!! But this just seems to be the Turkish way! Our room was on the top floor and it's only suitable for midgets! We were banging our heads of roofs and door frames all the time - not good! So beware! Pool area was clean and the "brothers" were always happy to serve you, however one thing I didn't like was that the pool was all the one depth, 1.7m, which means most people struggle to touch the bottom, so weak swimmers beware. The hotel is very basic, with no electrical appliances in the room, cleaners only emptied the bins on a daily basis and sheets and towels were changed every 4 days!Location however was ideal as it was away from the centre of Marmaris (which has a terrible beach) and it was good having a small town just two minutes down the road! Bus was also handy outside nature homes (the no3) and if you want a good night go and see TALK OF THE TOWN!

Anyone who says they didn't have a good time at Ladik Park is lying. The waiters, especially Veysi and Daniel, were brilliant always willing to help and make your stay most comfortable. Their extremely friendly approach meant that you got more of a service than just serving you food and drinks. The barman Doolan (chef) was an outstanding man. His English was brilliant and would've done anything for you. When we booked, yes, we heard there were thefts but name a place where this kind of thing doesn't happen. You step out the hotel right onto the bus stop where a number 3 takes you straight into town for 1 lira. We had a great holiday and find it disappointing reading about stupid little things like people complaining about cockrells going cockadoodledo, get a life you sad people just shut your balcony door.

Me and my family was staying at Ladik Park Hotel for two weeks in July. We did nothing but enjoy ourselves. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Alex the owner is a right laugh, always getting up on the bar dancing with the rest of the staff. Most days we just stayed aroung the pool area. You can buy food from the hotel which none of us had a problem with. Infact it was good food. Each morning they served breakfast from 8am til 10pm and you could choose from things like egg on toast or beans on toast, ect. They said that the cleaners came around every four days but they didn't. Infact we always had clean towels and clean sheets. At Ladik Park there are a mix of people ranging from families with small children to older couples. Right next to the hotel is a bus stop where you can hop on which will take you right down to the front of
Marmaris. All I can say now is that me and my family will be returning next year!!!!

Yes its true...no food or soft drinks allowed ANYWHERE in the Ladik Park hotel unless bought from the hotel premises. On the day we left they decided there was no water allowed either! I was hungry late one night but food had finished being served and no other facilities to buy from were open! Yes its true about towels and bedding too, don't expect anything clean until 4 days into your holiday, if you ask you will be told NO!! Some young staff are friendly but remember they are on orders from the boss to report any wrong doings! Personally I was happy with my room even though it did look over a piece of ground used for cockerels. I love the cockledoodling in the morning though so if you dont, be warned...do not choose this hotel. I didnt have any loose wires but my friends room had several faulty sockets. I heard someone had been allocated a ground floor room that had holes in the wall and wires hanging out. I don't think they usually use these rooms unless the hotel is full. I thought pool area was spotless but staff rotate with beady eyes 8-) !! Easy to get bus from the hotel area to centre of Marmaris. I spent too much money having to buy their drinks, small bottle of water = 2 lira in hotel, outside in supermaket = 0.25 lira, thats 800% profit!!! Tour Operator: Goldtrail

This hotel has only been opened for 6 weeks - it was previously known as the Alahan hotel.
Where do I start? 6 thefts from rooms and one of these thefts happened while the people were in bed sleeping, after this happened all saftey deposit boxes were moved to reception in behind the counter, again another theft from an eldery couples safe box (yes the box was behind the counter) £1000, passports and flight tikets all taken, another safe robbed psp £800 and psp games,(NOTE A KEY WAS USED ON THESE SAFES EACH TIME THEY WERE ROBBED),when the eldery couple reported their loss, the manager escorted the eldery lady to her room were he overturned everything accuseing her of hiding it in the room,he also refused to let the eldery gentleman telephone the tour rep from the hotel so he had to walk 600 yards to the phone outside of the hotel. People were being hospitalised from diseases you get from rats, electical wires hanging bare in your bedroom and balcony, elevator breaking down each day people being stuck in the lift, bedding and towels changed once every 4 days, when the maid comes to your room she just walks on in,and if she finds any crisp packets or coke bottles she reports it to the manager as you are not allowed to bring any food or drinks to your room only if you buy it from the hotel (1 packet of crisps 3 lira in hotel outside 1 lira,1 large coke 6 lira 0.5l glass outside 2.5 litre bottle 1.75 lira) these are just a few of the rip off prices you will pay at this hotel. The manager well he`ll be your best friend for the first few days after he constantly pesters you to go to his restraunt in Marmaris main town its called Alahan steak house it was no different from most of the steak house`s,when you`ve done that he then pesters you to get the kids hairs cut or lines shaved on their heads at (YES) his hairdressers,e nough about this pest.
Each morning I was woke at 05.30,as there where 12 cockerals or roosters cock a dodoodledoo doing each bloody morning (remember its 03.30 back home in uk). Im going to finish now as I could write a book on this hotel and before I go I`d like to tell you that there's also some building work and maintenance being carried out in and around the hotel,SO DONT SAY YOU HAVENT BEEN WARNED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. Overall I had a great holiday but (and it is quite a big but) the Ladik Park hotel isn't fantastic. Again sheets and towels weren't changed. I asked and was told they had been but due to a mascara stain I knew they hadn't. The maid kept coming in to clean but cleaned nothing - just emptied the bin. I cleaned the sink myself as it was dirty.
There were bare wires in the bathroom and stains on the walls. The air con broke down twice (we got our money back for those nights though as we complained). Worst of all - everytime we plugged something into the socket (travel iron, hair dryer, straighteners etc) the power for the whole room went off. We had to scrabble on our hands and knees to fix this at the socket box - not easy at night in the dark.
The music around the pool is blaring and if you are going to chill by the pool beware as you won't be able to. You are constantly asked if you want to buy drinks and if you are having a nap you'll get your feet tickled or water pored on you. You can use the pool at the 4 star up the road though as long as you buy one or two drinks there.
No food or drink from outside allowed in but depends how good a smuggler you are! We brought in drinks from outside and removed the rubbish before the maid could see it!
The food was pretty good and fairly cheap and the younger waiters friendly but a bit annoying after a few days.
Location was ok - a bit further out of the centre of Marmaris and no sea view at all as some people had been promised but the dolmus is regular and only takes 5 minutes to get in. The cockerels were very very noisy and if you are put on the side of the building nearest to them, ask to be moved.
Overall a good holiday but don't expect the highest of standards - we only paid £200 for 2 weeks though so didn't really complain.

I went there with my best friend July 2006 and what can i say, no taxi drivers at the time or anyone knew where it was so we seemed to get charged excessively until when we were given a card saying it was the alahan, items in the hotel i.e. the dodgy hairdyers all had the old hotel name on it as well as burning your hair, my plane ticket home was stollen or the maid threw it out as we caught her trying to do with our medication.... thank god we weren't reliant on it. Yes there was a ban on all items food and drink wise from other establishments.... pretty tough when its so pricey and we can't drink their water. My friend saw a cockroach and our other friends did also. We were told we were getting a pool veiw we ended up over looking the rural cockeral farm.....yes it is really irrating!!!!! The Ladik Park Hotel pool is all one depth no shallow end for the kids reckon its about 6ft in depth. Did get pestered to go to other restaurant owned by them nothing spectacular, some of the food a bit dodgy doesn't taste right. My mate got constantly pestered by the over friendly hotel manager i did also with the hotel owner whom i found very letchy and made me uncomfortable. We also had some of the other members of staff banging on the door looking for "fun" at inapprioriate times and did make us feel uneasy. I found the place adequate for someone not taking kids suppose ok for couples and mates going way however i would say there is far more better hotels out there without the creeps and the extrorsion. (p.s. dont think the old i'll sneek some water in theres no fridge in ya room or owt and they will suss) ohh and Ladik Park Hotel is right near the graveyard!

I have just been reading some reports on the hotel and it shocked me a little cause I went to the Ladik Park Hotel for 2 weeks and it really was the best holiday ever. I was worried at first because I've never booked a holiday on the Internet but everything was fine. The hotel was pretty far away from the beach but it only took 5mins on a bus that came every 3-4 mins. The staff were lovely, very nice to everyone, I'm defo going back soon. I normally stay in 4/5 star hotels but seriously you wont be able to fault it.
