The Riviera Hotel in Dubai is very well located, just five minutes from the airport and has lovely views of the creek where you see boats crossing the river. The shopping district is just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel was rated a four star, but the rooms were more like 3 star. Bathrooms must be due for renovation. But the restaurants were first-rate and good-value, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
