The opposite of a typical resort area in the Algarve. Peaceful little town with splendid beaches. Take a trip to Spain on the ferry over the river Guardiana. Shop for towels, sheets etc. Eat lots of fresh fish in the many little restaurants. See the beautifully fresh food in the market. Take a stroll in the nature reserve and watch the birds. No MacDonalds, no KFC or any other fast food outlet. Wonderful!
