PUERTO DE LA DUQUESA HOLIDAY REVIEWS
Puerto De La Duquesa
Nothing special - L Craig. Date of travel: Jul 2007
Porto Duquesa is a great location for a few days but no more - cabin fever would prevail if you were to prolong your stay. Very few Spanish and very expat orientated Lovely beach, unfortunately beach bar insists on charging €4 for sunbeds, not expensive until you calculate the cost for a week for two!

Great for golf - Jim Smythe. Date of travel: May 2006
Puerto de la Duquesa one of the lesser-known resorts on Spain's Costa del Sol and has not yet been spoilt with high-rise hotels and an influx of package holiday makers. Puerto de la Duquesa is on the coast, between between Marbella and Gibraltar. It is 10km west of Estepona and about 7km from Sotogrande. It is less than one hours drive from Malaga airport and half an hour from Gibraltar. La Duquesa has a busy port area and marina and a number of shops and bars and a selection of restaurants. The resort has a nice sandy beach which goes on for miles. Many people visit Puerto de la Duquesa because of the excellent nearby golf courses including the Duquesa Golf and Country Club, a championship 18 hole Robert Trent Jones course.
